PENALTIES

No Licence

The last thing you want to happen to you once you have your licence, is to lose it again. Worse still if you have just forked out for a car, you'll be paying it off and not able to use it. If you're a newly qualified driver it doesn’t take much for you to lose you licence eg. getting caught twice by a safety camera.

Warning: If you decide to keep driving without a licence you could be imprisoned for up to 12 months, face a £5,000 fine plus an additional 6 penalty points. Is it really worth the risk?

No Insurance
You might still have your licence, bought a car but didn’t get it insured. You might not have thought it was important at the time or couldn’t quite afford it.

Well, it will cost you a lot more than you think if you don’t get your car insured. Apart from a hefty fine of up to £5,000, you will also get 6-8 points on your licence which could lead to a driving ban.

No MOT
Forgot to get that all important MOT, well it could cost you up to a £1,000 fine. Is it worth the risk?
